At A Woman’s Concern, we believe education is empowerment. This summer, our Health & Safety Classes have helped dozens of moms and dads gain parenting skills that bring peace of mind to any growing family.

These classes, taught primarily by our nursing staff, continue to draw larger and larger groups each week. You know it’s a great turn-out when you peek in and see Nurse Wanda teaching a full house with eight moms, two dads, two kids, and a student nurse shadowing our lovely team!

From infant CPR and safe sleep practices to car seat installation and preparation for childbirth, these classes offer a lifeline to parents preparing to welcome a new baby with confidence.

Each class is offered in a supportive environment where parents not only learn but also connect with others facing similar challenges. Participants leave feeling equipped, confident, and encouraged, and ready to keep their little ones safe and healthy. And often, what’s learned in class truly makes a life-changing difference.

Brandon* and his wife recently shared how grateful they were for the information they were provided on pre-term labor. When his wife unexpectedly went into labor early, they knew exactly what was happening and called their doctor right away, allowing the doctor to help protect both mom’s and baby’s health.

Your generosity makes this possible. Every class, every skill learned, and every family helped is because of you. Thank you for giving parents the confidence and tools they need to keep their little ones safe and healthy.
