At this event, you will hear stories like that of Ileana and Dennis. These two young adults found themselves faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Their past was difficult, their future unknown. A positive pregnancy test seemed to put a halt to their plans for a better future, at first. But then, they found themselves at AWC.

Abortion seemed to be the simple solution, but it wasn’t what they wanted.

Our center exists to help families like this move forward courageously when choosing life. We all know, it takes great courage to go against the odds. We live in a society that has a fine-tuned objective of influencing the direction taken by those facing unplanned pregnancies. 

Our culture, our world, our communities, perhaps even our friends, suggest that the best way to move forward is not to choose life. It takes more than just strength to go against public opinion and to seek a different path. It takes support, knowledge, planning, and guidance – and providing those valuable resources is the mission of AWC.
