The Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative (PPWC) exists to ensure that pregnancy centers across Pennsylvania, including A Woman’s Concern, can continue to provide compassionate, life-affirming care while standing united to protect the health and safety of the women and families we serve
Her Health Matters.
Right now, protecting life requires a strong, collective voice. AWC is working in partnership with 87 other centers across the state so that we are able to effectively advocate for policies that support both mother and baby.
We want to inform you of a report that directly impacts our mission. Two newly released studies have revealed serious health risks, and a lower effectiveness rate associated with the abortion pill, mifepristone. These findings underscore the urgent need for stronger safety protocols that prioritize women’s health.
As this research shapes the ongoing advocacy of the PPWC, we are committed to clearly communicating the truth about these findings, not only to protect women from the harm of this increasingly unregulated drug, but also to shift the public conversation toward a culture that values and defends life. By raising awareness and urging accountability, we aim to slow the widespread distribution of the abortion pill and affirm the dignity of both mother and child.
A snapshot of the findings and links to read the data for yourself can be found HERE and embedded as a PDF below.
Together, we are offering hope, help, and truth at a time when women need it most. Thank you for standing with A Woman’s Concern as we serve women with dignity and speak boldly for life.
We are grateful for all you do!
For Life,
Jill Hartman

Is there a bill that represents the requests of the PPWC, which citizens can urge their representatives to support to reinstate the safety measures?
Thank you.
The PPWC does not write or introduce legislation directly. Instead, they works to educate, advocate, and support pro-life policies across the Commonwealth. The best course of action is to contact your local state representative or senator. Let them know your concerns and urge them to support legislation that prioritizes women’s health and safety.
Here is a sample message you can use when reaching out to your legislator:
Dear ,
I am writing to express my concern about the removal of health and safety regulations related to abortion procedures in Pennsylvania. I believe that protecting the well-being of women must be a priority, and I urge you to support and/or introduce legislation that reinstates these vital safety measures to protect maternal health. Thank you for representing the values of our community and for standing up for the dignity and health of every woman and child.
